Myrtle Oil (Natural Remedy for skin problems)



       Harvest Hadas (Myrtle) branches when flowers are found on the plant.
       Fill a quarter of a bottle with the plant newly cut, add almond oil to the top of the bottle and close with a cork.
       Leave the bottle in the windowsill in a sunny spot for 10 days shake it every day.
       Strain through a muslin cloth or paper filter and return to bottle.
       In order that the oil will keep add a drop of E vitamin or a little wheat-germ oil. 

Rub on skin to treat various skin problems, and heal infections and soars.

Natural Facial Cream (make your own)



1 oz or 1/8 cup coconut oil/cocoa butter
1/2 oz beeswax (16g)
3-4 oz (1/2 cup) almond oil or jojoba oil
1 oz rose water
1-2 drops of essential lavender oil
·       Mix everything in blender.
·       Put it in a small jar, and refrigerate.

Will moisturize your face and keep your skin youthful.

Easy Chicken Pot pie (left over roasted Chicken)

using leftover roasted chicken

de- boned roasted chicken 
2 frozen pie crust 
1 can of cream of mushroom soup 
1 16 oz bag of frozen mixed vegetables (let sit to thaw)
1 tbs. olive oil
1/2 small onion diced
1 med. garlic glove minced 
1 tsp. fresh rosemary 
sea salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 425 ,
Place one pie crust in oven to brown slightly  for about 10 min .  In a large skillet fry onions in olive oil for about 2 min. ,add minced garlic continue cooking adding the vegetables and rosemary, cook for about 5 min. add cream of mushroom then allow to simmer . Add chicken ,salt pepper and coat with mixture in the pan. allow cook for a good 15 min. the pour into pie crust and cover with the other pie crust seal edges , cutting small slits on top of crust to vent bake in oven at 425  for 30 t0 35 min or until golden brown and bubbly.

7 Grain Bread with Flax and Chia Seeds



6 c. water
1/2 c. date syrup
1/2 c. oil
1 T. salt
1 c. 7 grain cereal
1 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. chia seeds
1/4 c. ground flax seed
1/2 c. potato flour
1/4 c. dough enhancer
whole wheat flour
unbleached flour
3 T. yeast
Bring 4 c. water to boil in sauce pan. Remove from heat and add salt, oil, oatmeal, date syrup, 7 grain cereal, flax seed and chia seed. Let set until lukewarm. Place mixture into mixer and 2 c. warm water. With mixer on low (using dough hooks) add 1 c. flour and 3 T. yeast. Proceed to add flour and dough enhancer until dough begins to clean the sides of the bowl. (10-14 c. flour, depending on conditions and ingredients) Remove from mixer and place on oiled counter. Let rest for 5 minutes. Spray 6 loaf pans. Divide dough into 6 parts and form into loaves. Place in oiled pans and into oven. Turn oven on until coils just start to turn red. TURN OVEN OFF. Let rise until dough reaches top of pans. Turn oven on to 350 and bake for 22-25 minutes. Remove from oven and pans and place on cooling racks.
